Put the governing standard and edition in the purchase specification, then confirm the destination's legal requirements separately.

Separate four layers
Product manuals and fabrication practices describe the grating itself. Coating standards describe galvanized products or hardware. Access and workplace rules address use of the installed surface. Project specifications combine these layers and may add owner-specific inspection or documentation.
