Prepare grating enquiries for power-generation access areas by separating temperature, exposure and loading requirements. This guide does not approve a material for hot zones, electrical areas or nuclear service.
Define the application area
List turbine and boiler access, cooling-tower walkways, water-treatment areas and cable-trench covers separately. Mark equipment-removal routes and removable panels on the layout. Do not extend an ordinary access-platform proposal to a safety-classified installation.

- Normal and upset temperatures, exposure duration and proximity to hot equipment
- Cooling-water chemistry, dosing and cleaning agents, concentrations and contact conditions
- Project-defined maintenance loads, equipment routes, supports and panel openings
- Required fire, smoke, electrical and qualification documents for the identified area

Steel options
Request the exact steel grade, finish and panel configuration. Ask the project team to review temperature, corrosion and structural requirements together; a galvanizing reference is not a high-temperature rating. Product details.

Approval and evidence boundaries
Any nuclear qualification, safety classification, fire assessment or electrical acceptance requires the responsible project specialists and applicable product records.
