Custom-fabricated steel and FRP grating for thermal, nuclear, hydro, and renewable energy facilities — made to your project drawings and shipped factory-direct from Anping, China.

Power stations run around the clock, and every elevated walkway, equipment platform, and trench cover in them is a working surface that crews depend on through decades of heat, vibration, and weather. GoGrating supplies steel grating and FRP grating for thermal (coal and gas), nuclear, hydroelectric, solar, and wind projects — fabricated in Anping, Hebei, the region that produces the majority of China's grating output, and exported to EPC contractors, procurement engineers, and distributors across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, Australia, and Latin America. Our FRP line also serves buyers in the United States.
Every order is made to project specifications rather than pulled from stock. Panels are fabricated to YB/T 4001.1 or ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531, hot-dip galvanized per ASTM A123 where specified, and produced under an ISO 9001 quality system with CE marking available. Send us your drawings or CAD files and we will return a panel layout and quotation matched to your structure.
Cooling towers are one of the most demanding grating environments in any plant: constant moisture, warm water, and chemical dosing attack ordinary steel. For tower decks, fan platforms, and internal walkways, FRP grating in isophthalic or vinyl ester resin is the usual specification; hot-dip galvanized steel remains common on surrounding access structures.
Turbine halls and boiler houses use steel grating for mezzanine floors, operating platforms, stair treads, and the multi-level walkways that surround boilers, mills, and steam piping. Serrated bearing bars are frequently specified where oil mist or condensation makes surfaces slippery.
Elsewhere on site, grating covers cable and pipe trenches, floors switchyard and transformer access ways, serves ash- and coal-handling galleries, and provides O&M platforms at hydro dams, solar inverter stations, and wind turbine bases. See our full range of industry applications for related uses.
Hot-dip galvanized steel grating is the workhorse for power plant flooring. Bearing bars run from 20x3 mm for light walkways up to 100x9 mm for heavy-duty platforms and trench covers, in 19-space and 15-space pitch series, with plain or serrated surfaces. Untreated (mill finish), painted, and stainless 304/316 options are available — stainless is worth considering near steam, condensate, or dosing equipment. Panel dimensions, end banding, cutouts for pipe penetrations, and matching stair treads are all fabricated to order; see steel grating for details.
FRP grating — molded, pultruded, or covered, in orthophthalic, isophthalic, or vinyl ester resins — is recommended for cooling towers, water treatment, and chemical dosing areas where galvanized steel corrodes prematurely. Fire-retardant resin systems can be specified where the project requires them; see FRP grating.
Heat: around boilers, turbines, and steam lines, hot-dip galvanized or untreated steel grating is preferred over painted finishes, which degrade at sustained elevated temperatures. FRP is generally kept away from high-temperature zones and reserved for wet and chemical areas.
Load: turbine platforms must carry maintenance crews, rigging, and dismantled components, while trench grating in vehicle routes sees wheel loads. Rather than quoting generic numbers, we size bearing bars against your span and load case using engineered load tables per ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531 — tell us the application and we will recommend a section.
Fire and safety: steel grating is non-combustible and its open area resists the accumulation of coal dust and debris; FRP can be supplied in fire-retardant resin grades. To get a project-specific recommendation, request a quote with your drawings, layout plans, or a simple list of platform areas — our engineers respond with panel schedules and specifications, not catalog guesses.
Yes. All GoGrating production is custom-order. Send DWG, DXF, PDF drawings, or even a marked-up sketch with span and load notes, and we will return a panel layout with cutouts, banding, and fixing details before fabrication begins.
Steel grating is fabricated to YB/T 4001.1 or ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531, with hot-dip galvanizing per ASTM A123. Our factory operates under ISO 9001, and CE marking is available for European projects. Engineered load tables are provided on request.
FRP grating in isophthalic or vinyl ester resin is the standard choice inside cooling towers and chemical dosing areas, where moisture and treatment chemicals corrode galvanized steel. Hot-dip galvanized steel suits the drier access structures and platforms around the tower.
There is no fixed catalog MOQ — orders are priced per project, from a single platform package to full-plant supply. Lead time depends on panel count, bearing bar size, surface treatment, and fabrication complexity, and is confirmed with your quotation.
