Factory-direct heavy-duty steel grating and FRP grating for mine sites, mineral processing plants, and bulk material handling — fabricated to your project drawings in Anping, China.

Few industries punish access steelwork the way mining does. Crusher galleries, screen decks, conveyor walkways, and stacker-reclaimer platforms take constant vibration, dropped ore, abrasive dust, and traffic from crews in heavy boots carrying tools and components. Grating that performs well in a commercial mezzanine can fail early underground or in a wash plant — which is why mining operators and EPC contractors specify heavy-duty welded steel grating built specifically for the duty.
GoGrating fabricates welded steel grating and FRP grating for mining projects from Anping, Hebei — the region that produces over 70% of China's grating and wire mesh output, with more than 800 fabrication plants within 30 km. Every panel is made to order against your project specifications: this is a custom fabrication business, not a stock-SKU catalog. Mining is one of several industries we serve, and among the most demanding.
Mining platforms see loads well beyond normal pedestrian duty: maintenance trolleys, jacking equipment, motor and gearbox change-outs, and impact from falling rock or dropped tooling. The structural answer is deeper, thicker bearing bars — moving from light commercial sections toward 50×5, 65×5, 75×6, and up to 100×9 mm — combined with full-depth resistance welding at every bearing bar and cross bar intersection so the panel behaves as a single rigid unit under repeated impact and vibration.
The environment is the second challenge. Surface operations face weather and abrasive dust; underground workings add humidity and acidic mine water; processing plants introduce slurry splash, reagents, and washdown. For most steel grating positions, hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123 is the baseline protection. Where chemistry is more aggressive — heap leach pads, CIL tanks, electrowinning cells — stainless 304/316 or corrosion-immune FRP grating is the better specification. Serrated bearing bars are strongly recommended wherever mud, slurry, or oil can reach the walking surface.
Heavy-duty welded steel grating is the workhorse for mining platforms, walkways, crusher access, and trench covers. We fabricate bearing bars across the full standard range of 20×3 to 100×9 mm in 19-space and 15-space pitch series, with plain or serrated surfaces, banded ends, toe plates, cut-outs around stub columns and pipework, and matching stair treads with checker-plate or abrasive nosing. Finishes are hot-dip galvanized, painted, untreated for site coating, or stainless 304/316 — selected per zone, not one finish forced across the whole plant.
For chemically aggressive process areas, our FRP grating line offers molded and pultruded panels in orthophthalic, isophthalic, and vinyl ester resins, with covered (solid-top) options where spill containment or rolling carts matter. FRP adds no spark risk, never rusts, and cuts on site with hand tools — useful for retrofit work in operating concentrators. Many mining projects mix the two: galvanized steel for structural decks, FRP around tank farms and reagent areas.
GoGrating fabricates to YB/T 4001.1 and ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531, with hot-dip galvanizing per ASTM A123, under an ISO 9001 quality system with CE marking available for European projects. Impact and abrasion resistance come from the section itself: deeper bearing bars resist permanent set from dropped loads, twisted cross bars lock the panel against racking, and serration depth is controlled so anti-slip performance survives years of abrasive wear. We do not publish generic load numbers, because safe spans depend on bar section, pitch, span, and your project's load case — contact us for engineered load tables matched to your specification.
Send your platform drawings, cut-out schedules, or CAD files and our engineers will return a fabrication proposal with panel layouts, fixing details, and finish recommendations for each plant zone. Request a quote — drawings and DWG/STEP files welcome.
Yes — custom fabrication is our standard model, not an exception. Send platform layouts, cut-out schedules, or CAD files (DWG/STEP) and we fabricate panels to your dimensions, including banding, toe plates, notches around columns and pipe penetrations, and matching stair treads. Every mining order is engineered to the project, not picked from stock.
Steel grating is fabricated to YB/T 4001.1 and ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531, with hot-dip galvanizing per ASTM A123. Our plants operate under ISO 9001, and CE marking is available for European projects. For load capacity, we provide engineered load tables based on your specified bar section, pitch, and span rather than generic figures.
Light pedestrian areas may use sections like 25×3 or 30×3 mm, but mining platforms with equipment traffic and impact exposure typically move to 50×5 mm and above — up to 100×9 mm for the heaviest duty — usually in 19-space or 15-space pitch with serrated surfaces. Our engineers will confirm the section against your load case.
Because grating is made to order, MOQ is flexible and quoted per project — container-load quantities are most economical for export, but smaller trial orders are possible. Lead time depends on tonnage, fabrication complexity, and galvanizing schedule; we confirm a production and shipping timeline with every quotation. Request a quote with your drawings for exact terms.
