Infrastructure Applications
Bridge grating. Pedestrian bridge decking, inspection walkways, maintenance catwalks, and expansion-joint covers. Heavy-duty bearing bars — typically toward the upper end of the 50×5 to 100×9 mm range — handle longer spans, while serrated surfaces provide slip resistance in wet and icy conditions. Hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123 is the default protection against road salt and weathering; stainless 304/316 is available where chloride exposure is severe.
Airport drainage grating. Trench covers and drainage gratings for aprons, taxiway edges, terminal forecourts, and fuel-handling areas. Frames and angle surrounds are fabricated as matched sets so covers seat flush and do not rock under traffic.
