Every grating we ship is made to your project specification — so our quality system is built around verifying your drawings, not checking stock off a shelf. Three inspection gates, documented results, ISO 9001 discipline.
Grating is a custom-order product. A panel fabricated for an offshore walkway in the Middle East and one destined for a wastewater plant in Europe may share nothing beyond the bearing-bar principle — different bar sections, pitch series, surface treatments and panel layouts. That is why our quality system does not inspect against a generic sample: every order for steel grating or FRP grating is inspected against the approved drawings and specification agreed at quotation.
Our factory in Anping, Hebei operates an ISO 9001-certified quality management system, with steel grating produced and checked to YB/T 4001.1 and ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531, hot-dip galvanizing verified to ASTM A123, and CE documentation available for projects that require it. We do not publish load figures we cannot stand behind — engineered load and deflection tables are issued per standard and span condition when you request a quote.
IQC — incoming quality control. Bearing bar flats (from 20×3 mm up to 100×9 mm), twisted cross rods and banding plate arrive with mill test certificates, which we verify for grade, chemistry and mechanical properties before material enters production. For FRP grating, resin batches (orthophthalic, isophthalic or vinyl ester) and fiberglass rovings are checked against the resin system specified for your service environment.
IPQC — in-process quality control. During fabrication we monitor weld quality at bar/rod joints, pitch accuracy across the 19-space and 15-space series, bar alignment, and panel squareness, with banding and toe-plate welds checked against the cutting list. After hot-dip galvanizing, zinc coating thickness is measured with digital magnetic gauges at multiple points per panel to confirm conformance with ASTM A123; painted and stainless 304/316 finishes follow their own inspection checklists. FRP panels are checked for resin cure (Barcol hardness), color consistency and surface condition.
OQC — outgoing quality control. Before packing, finished panels go through final dimensional inspection against your drawings, visual inspection for weld spatter, dross and handling damage, and a piece-count check against the packing list. Each export shipment can include dimensional reports, galvanizing reports and material certificates, and we routinely host third-party inspections (SGS, BV, TUV) for EPC and distributor clients. Yes. Custom fabrication is our core business — send CAD, PDF or hand-marked drawings with your quote request and we produce to those dimensions. The same drawings become the inspection reference for IPQC and final OQC, so every panel is checked against your specification, not a generic standard sheet.
Standard documentation includes material mill certificates, dimensional inspection reports and zinc coating thickness reports per ASTM A123, issued under our ISO 9001 system. CE documentation is available where required, and third-party inspection by SGS, BV or TUV can be arranged before shipment on request.
Steel grating is manufactured and inspected to YB/T 4001.1 and ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531, with hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123. FRP grating follows recognized molded and pultruded grating practice in orthophthalic, isophthalic or vinyl ester resin. Engineered load tables per standard are provided with your quotation.
