Confirm the Manufacturing Route Before Ordering

Grating manufacture can involve material preparation, bearing-bar and cross-bar assembly, welding or press locking, cutting, banding, surface treatment, inspection and export packing. FRP products may use molded or pultruded construction. The exact route depends on the product, dimensions, finish, quantity and project requirements.

Before placing an order, ask the supplier team to identify which operations apply to your quotation, where they will be performed and which records can be supplied. Equipment lists, workshop photographs, production capacity and lead-time commitments should be treated as order-specific facts and supported by current evidence.

Information to Include in the RFQ

• Product type, bearing-bar section, pitch and panel dimensions
• Material grade, surface finish or FRP resin requirement
• Cut-outs, banding, nosing, toe plates and fixing accessories
• Applicable standard, inspection points and required documents
• Quantity, packing, destination and requested delivery window

Evidence Buyers Can Request

Where relevant, request current production photographs, material records, dimensional inspection records, coating or surface-treatment records, packing details and third-party inspection requirements. Availability is confirmed in writing with the quotation rather than assumed from general website copy.
